Erosi pappisvirasta 1734 omantunnon epäilysten ahdistamana. Erikssonien herätyssuunnan kannattaja. Otettu uudestaan pappisvirkaan Turun hiippakunnassa 1746. Kuusamon kirkkoherra 1748. † Kuusamossa 6.4.1784.
