Johan (65) and his wife Cora were attacked, by three assailants, as they were on their way to church. They were both severely beaten with a baseball bat. Johan died at the scene. The men tied Cora up and fled with two mobile phones. A 22-year-old suspect who lived close to the farm was charged with murder.
