Married to Anna Barbara Wurmbach as her second husband, on 26 Sep 1694 in Müsen. Anna Barbara Wurmbach was a widow when she married Johann Georg Brombach, she was first married to Hans Jacob Merten.

He's the brother of Johannes Brombach.

Dr. BC Holtzclaw corrects the second husband of Anna Barbara Wurmbach in Germanna Record No. 5: Ancestry and Descendants of the Nassau-Siegen Immigrants to Virginia 1714-1750 on pgs 49-50. He also discusses the marriages of both Johannes and Johann Georg Brombach on pgs. 52-54.

Anna Barbara Wurmbach was born in Müsen in1667 and baptised on 21 May 1667, the daughter of Friedrich Wurmbach and Margarete Rode. Her father was a church elder at the church in Müsen and former associate of the District Court. Anna Barbara Wurmbach married Hans Jacob Merten on 22 Oct 1687 and after his death on 26 Aub 1693, she married Johann Georg Brombach on 26 Sep 1694. Anna Barbara Wurmbach and Hans Jacob Merten are the parents of the 1714 Immigrant, Johann Jost Merten/John Joseph Martin b. 24 May 1691 in Müsen.

I've been lucky enough to travel with the Germanna Foundation to Müsen many times and I've had the honor of planning and leading the Germanna Foundation Germany Trip since 2016. We have very good contacts in Müsen, one of which is Pastor Weiss AND he has the church books still in the church's possession!

Thanks!
