"When Johann Daniel Fabel was born on 3 July 1801, in Merxheim, Kreuznach, Rhineland, Prussia, his father, Johannes Fabel, was 59 and his mother, Anna Maria Korn, was 55. He married Maria Elisabeth Kratzman on 12 May 1825, in Merxheim, Kreuznach, Rhineland, Prussia. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. He died on 8 May 1879, in Sobernheim, Bad Kreuznach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, at the age of 77."
