About Johann Michael Krause

Johann Michael KRAUSE born in 1802 at Schönlanke, West Prussia [present day Trzcianka, Wielkopolskie, Poland] was the son of son of Ludwig KRAUSE Sr. and Anna Katharina KOSCH.

Johann married the widow, Anna Charlotte (ZUNDER) MITTELSTAUDT on the 23rd of July 1821 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Anna Karolina KRAUSE.

By marrying Anna Charlotte, Johann Michael took over the Johann MITTELSTAUDT farmstead in Tarutino. Then in 1828 the Johann KRAUSE family passed their farmstead on to Christian SCHATZ (1771-1853) and moved to Kloestitz, Bessarabia.
