Christoph Krause

Christoph KRAUSE was born 25 December 1804 at Schönlanke, West Prussia [present day Trzcianka, Wielkopolskie, Poland] was the son of Ludwig KRAUSE and Anna Katharina KOSCH.

Christoph took over his father's Tarutino farmstead (No. 82) after Ludwig died on the 27th of November 1921.

Christoph married Anna "Luise" STEUK on the on the 28th of September 1824 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Wilhelmina. Anna "Luise" KRAUSE died in October 1825 at Tarutino.

Christoph married Anna WARNKE on the 20th of June 1826 at Tarutino. This union was blessed with 12 children; Anna-Maria, Johann Michael, Christoph, Ludwig, Christian, "Wilhelm" Friedrich, August, Martin, Samuel, Louisa, Daniel and Ferdinand.

Christoph KRAUSE at age 78, died in June 1883 at Tarutino. Christoph's son Daniel was his farming successor.

Johann Michael KRAUSE born in 1802 at Schönlanke, West Prussia [present day Trzcianka, Wielkopolskie, Poland] was the son of son of Ludwig KRAUSE Sr. and Anna Katharina KOSCH.

Johann married the widow, Anna Charlotte (ZUNDER) MITTELSTAUDT on the 23rd of July 1821 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. The couple was blessed with a daughter, Anna Karolina KRAUSE.

By marrying Anna Charlotte, Johann Michael took over the Johann MITTELSTAUDT farmstead in Tarutino. Then in 1828 the Johann KRAUSE family passed their farmstead on to Christian SCHATZ (1771-1853) and moved to Kloestitz, Bessarabia.

Johann Michael KRAUSE at less than age 60, died sometime before 1862 probably at Tarutino. Therefore, 1860 is an approximate date of death.
