Ludwig KRAUSE was born in 1782 at Schönlanke, West Prussia [present day Trzcianka, Wielkopolskie, Poland]. Ludwig KRAUSE was one of the original colonists of Tarutino in 1814.
Ludwig married Anna Katharina KOSCH in about 1798 at Schönlanke, West Prussia. This union was blessed with 7 children; Paul, Andreas, Johann Michael, Christoph, Karolina, Ludwig and Samuel.
Ludwig KRAUSE at age 39, died in November 1921 at Tarutino, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia. Ludwig's son Christoph was his farming successor.
