Their suggestion:
WENRICH Heidelberg Township: East of Robesonia where Old Rt. 422 meets the present-day Rt. 422. Size: Very large History: In the early 1700's this land belonged to Andrew Allen and the acreage then became part of the William Allen tract. LM, p. 162, reported a graveyard on the old Wenrich homestead. "The Wenrich family, one of the oldest of the State, had its origin here in Matthias Wenrich Sr. (See maps at Find A Grave Memorial# 48002593). He was a large landowner in Heidelberg Township and his two sons Balthaser and Matthias Jr. were taxable in 1759." (MHBA p. 1074) The old homestead was recently demolished, and a parking area extended. Gravemarkers and inscriptions: None visible. Stones supposedly buried. Observations: Area was evaluated quickly. Pattern began across the Old Rt. 422 and continued past the newly landscaped area near the east gate entrance and extended to the east end of a parking lot. Since permission to evaluate was denied, observations into the lot and across, through and behind the warehouse were confined to a perceived summary. "Burials were for Indians, Germans, English and some Blacks. At times the area seems to have been the site for large celebrations related to important government functions. Site seems to have been used for military training, and important government documents were stored in this area." [GBl Site address: 336 E.
