About John Thomas Wenrich
John THOMAS was the fifth of eleven children and the fourth son.
In 1759 Thomas was a baptismal sponsor for his brother Mathias' son, Thomas.
He was taxed at Heidelberg in 1767 and 1768. In 1780 he was taxed on 300 acres in Brunswick Twp., now Schuylkill Co. In 1791 (the first taxable year), Thomas was taxed at Manheim Twp. , which then included what became Wayne Twp. (some ten miles east of Pine Grove).
He married Magdalena. They had four sons: Mathias Balthaser Andreas Thomas II (b. ca. 1774)
They may have also had daughters. By the 1810 census Thomas and Magdalena were living by themselves.
