About Johannes Hendrik Conradie, b1c1d2e4f1g8.
He farmed at Leeuwfontein with horses During The Afrikaans Boer War the Tommies wanted to buy horses from him to use during their war, but out of principle he refused.
(Three of his wife's brothers were teachers in Transvaal and joined the Boers)
The Tommies did not like this and started killing all the live stock on the farm. a blood bath!
After his death his wife was left with two very small children and she had to sell the farm against all odds.
