Johannes "Hans" Pienaar (1942 - 2007)

Hans (64), was shot dead on March 12th 2007 on his farm, Mooiplaas, between Bloemhof and Schweizer-Reneke, when he wanted to investigate why the dogs were barking so much.

He was walking to their farm store when the suspects started shooting at him. Pienaar was shot in the chest and back and died at the scene.
