Service Description: 1) CAPT BALTZER ORTH, LANCASTER CO MILITIA Son of Rev. Johannes Casper Stoever. John or Johannes Stoever was born on 05 Jul 1753 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He married Anna Engel Kissecker on 24 May 1774 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Johann Casper Stoever, his father, performed their wedding ceremony. The marriage record is listed under the year 1774 and reads: "May 24. Johannes Stoever and Anna Engle Kissecker, Lebanon." Anna is also seen as Angenes Stoever. Anna was born on 5 Jul 1750 Johann Stoever was a farmer. Johann died on 20 Jul 1823 and is buried in the 1st Lutheran Church cemetery in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
