findagrave # 161931219 We might well imagine: When he died on his farm the family carried his body down by the river and buried him at the Slate Hill burying ground. Other Browns are buried there, such as Adonijah Brown .

The Quaker section of Slate Hill cemetery has 185 marked graves out of a total of 487, most pre-dating 1800. A notable progenitor of the Brown line, also buried at Slate Hill is Henry Baker
