- Nov 15 John S. Byler moved from pap Farm to A.D.Zook farm (note in Memoranda book of C.B.Hartzler at Heritage Center) - In 1898 all four of their children had diptheria. Two died within 2 days. - Died from the effects of several paralytic strokes. Mr. Byler had been in feeble health for several years but until lately was able to be about the farm.
