Rev. John Collins Jr., eldest child of John and Mary Collins, was born in 1665 in Saybrook and married 23 July, 1691 in Guilford, CT Anne Leete, born 5 Aug 1671. He married Ann Leete, eldest daughter of John Leete and Mary Chittenden of Guilford, son of Gov. William Leete. They settled in Guilford, where she d. 2 Nov., 1724. He survived her, and d. 24 Jan., 1751. They raise 10 of 12 twelve children while he worked as a Tanner & cordwainer

Although this person was likely interred in Guilford's original village cemetery (now the commons and public park in downtown Guilford), no surviving gravestone was known in 1818 when all gravestones at the Village Green, but not the people's remains, were dispersed to other town cemeteries.
