John Cooke, Jr. was born after 1656 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island [1] [2] and was the son of Mary (Borden) and John Cooke, Sr. [3] (1630-1691).
John Cooke, Jr. married about 1680 in Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island to Ruth Shaw.
He resided in Portsmouth and Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island. He was known as John Cook of Puncatest, distingushing him from his cousin John Cook who lived in North Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island.
He died on 20 Jul 1737 in Tiverton, Newport County, Rhode Island. [4]
