John D'abridgecourt was the son and heir of Sir John D'abridgecourt. He was born in September 1407 and he was said to come of age "on the morrow of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary 1428 " . His marriage settlement had been drawn up in June 1428.
He married Agnes, daughter of William Beckingham in 1428 and then after his death in 1432 she married William Brocas of Beaurepaire, Co Hampshire.
An Inquisition Postmorten stated that Thomas D'abridgecourt son and heir of John D'abridgecourt was four years old when his father died in 1432.
