Biography
John Dobree Huguenot from Normandy
John married Michelle Le Measurier. Together they had the following children: John Dobrée.
Fled Normandy about 1570, and built la Maison du Polet, Guernsey, Channel Islands in 1580 (see Smiles Hugenots in England). He m. Michelle, dau. of John or Michael le Measurier, and left an only son, John baptised 15 May 1572 and m. Elizabeth Rowland or Rowlaud, and left issue.
