German stone reads:

Ruhestaette des Johannes Eck Er war gebornen den 2. Sept. 1789, starb d. 21 Feb=ar 1857, war alt 67 Jahre, 5 Mon. und 19 Tage

English translation:

Resting place of "of the= Leib/Body" Johannes Eck He was born the 2nd of September 1789, Died the 21st Feb. 1857, He lived 67 Years, 5 Months and 19 Days

Additional information: Cemetery book had his birthdate published as September 4th 1794 which is most likely in error. A possiblity is that the feather ink pen ran out or faded of ink creating the "8" and the German "9" looked like a "4". Or.. that it was confused with John Joseph Eck Memorial# 115672431 buried at St. Mary Cemetery, Philadelphia. I'd would blame human error for recording. The tombstone looks like solid information. His mother would of been around the age of 27-28 years old when he was born.
