One had his birth year as 1792 and birth place as North Carolina; the other as 1793 and birth place as South Carolina. However, the 1850 Census shows his birth year as 1798 and his birth place as S. Carolina, so that's what is being kept until further documentation proves otherwise. -- Fiscus-32|Fiscus-32 17:54, 19 November 2015 (EST) Did Nathaniel (the son of John) marry 23 Aug 1852 in Pike County to Faitha Wood?<ref>"Alabama, County Marriages, 1809-1950", database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VRJB-6HP : 16 July 2015), Nathaniel S Fowler and Faitha Wood, 1852.</ref> If so, his middle initial was 'S'.
