The 7th Dragoon Guards (Priness Royal's) served on the Eastern Frontier, Cape of Good Hope, between 1843 and 1848. The ceremony took place in the dwelling of William Carpente. WItnesses appear to be Henry Wink and Eliza Whybrew. From Cory Library
