John Honford's reported two wives, Joan (Savage), born circa 1427, died unknown, daughter of Sir John Savage (III) and Eleanor (Unknown MN), is reported to be 27 years his senior, and Margaret (Savage) Trafford, born circa 1450, died circa 1529, daughter of Sir John Savage and Katherine (de Stanley) Savage, is questionable, to say the least. There might be an error (undoubtedly) in his marriage to Joan (Savage)
