Reference in Monesson Daily Independent 9/20/1915 is a letter to the editor from John J. Ossler, Secretary of the New Kensington Painters Union.
The letter was in support for a candidate for sheriff for the Republican primary. In the letter, JJ Ossler, stated that the candidate he was endorsing, John E. Shields had not employed non-union workers in his building projects.
