Biography

Gillett-586 wrote:After spending some time looking, I believe that John Kendall-1311 born 1765 and John K-2088 born 1767 and John Kendall-1221 born 1762 are three different people. The internet and ancestry.com have mixed up thethree of them and their wives and children. I believe that I have straightened out most of the problems. However, the internet and ancestryhave a Cassandra Lucas as born 1760 and 1770 ... married to John Kendall-1311 born 1765 Washington Co, MD died 1837 Adams Co., OH. Logic tells me that John-1311 most likely did not marry a Cassandra 5 yrs his senior ... so I have changed the birth date of C. Lucas-2976 to 1770 and asked for a merge of Lucas-2977 with 2976. Also, made birth place Frederick, Co., MD. and death place as Adams Co., OH. There probably are other items that could/should be changed but I do not wish to spend any more time on the 3 Johns and Cassandra. We will just have to keep an eye out for any changes made to them on Wikitree,John was born in 1762. John Kendall ... He passed away in 1821. <ref>First-hand information as remembered by James Jones, Friday, June 27, 2014. Replace this citation if there is another source.</ref>
