John King is # 1728 on the 1907 Wooster Roll where he is identified as the head of a family and brother of Jack King # 1718. John King's traditional name is recorded by Wooster as "Niganakwaam" meaning "Preceding thunder" but for fuller understanding that name, its context and meaning require scrutiny and comment by those with expertise in nuances of the Anishinaabemowin Language and Potawatomi culture.
Ancestry.com identifies Niganakwaam as the son of Quassin King and Kenokoons, names his wife as "Pagahmegahbow", and also identifies the traditional names of Niganakwaa's 5 sibling and a cascade of data from that file. In 1907 when John King was age 52 he was living at Parry Sound, Ontario where he held full rights in Canada.
