JOHN G. KNOBEL
Services for John George Knobel, 81, of 221 Campbell Rd., a native of Germany and resident of Syracuse for 63 years, will be held Friday. The Rev. Christian P. Jensen will officiate at rites in the Traugott & Lohman funeral home at 2 P.M. and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Knobel died Tuesday afternoon at his home. He was employed as an elevator repairman at the Houser Elevator Co. for 40 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Saint John and Saint Peter, and a former Sunday School teacher. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. James B. Nemier; two sons, John G. Knobel, Jr., of Mattydale and Carl J. Knobel of North Syracuse, and three grandchildren.
