About John Knowlton, II
John eldest child of John Knowlton and Marjorie Wilson Knowlton was born 1633 and like his father was a shoe maker. He subscribed to the freeman's oath October 16 1680 and was draughted in the Narragansett expedition November 30 1670. At forty two years of age he began to lose his eyesight.
