John (i) (Alasdair) married Margaret (Hector, Domhnull Eoin) MacNeil, Gillis Point (see 126). They lived in Ottawa Brook and their family: Alex and Hector. In a second marriage John (i) married Betsy Nash (see 565) and had no family. 32

Alexander McNeil (Ben), after settling for some year's at Rear Big Beach, moved his family to McKinnon’s Harbour, now Ottawa Brook. He was married to Catherine, daughter of Angus McNeil (Eoin) Christmas Island.

Bessie was the second wife of John (Alasdair, Barra) MacNeil, Ottawa Brook (see 32), had no family but adopted Margaret MacDonald: and in a second marriage she married Peter B. MacDonald, Ottawa Brook (see 352). lived in Ottawa Brook, and had no family.
