Comments: John Middleton was born in Northumberland, England, son of John Middleton d 1441 (son of John Middleton d 1396 and Christine Strivelyn) and Joan Skelton. The HoP reference to John Middleton indicates he had 4 sons, and describes the eldest as John, who married Elizabeth Ogle. They had issue: John, Anne. Burkes seems also to make reference to 'John son of John'. Hodgson seems to omit this generation.
