John Middleton was born in Northumberland, England, son of John Middleton and Joan Skelton.

The HoP reference to John Middleton indicates he had 4 sons, and describes the eldest as John, who married Elizabeth Ogle. [1] They had issue:

1. John[1]
2. Anne,[1]

Burkes seems also to make reference to 'John son of John'.

Hodgson seems to omit this generation.

Research Notes

The daughter is named Anne in several less than reliable sources but is not named by Richardson.
