John Miller, Patriot Soldier was born in the fall of 1752 and died before Dec 1825 in Knox County, Ohio. He was the son of John Miller and Hannah Ross. He married 1) Meribah Cook (his sister in law) 2) Rachel

INFORMATION FROM BRENDA B. WATSON
Not much is known of her Hannah Ross. She was probably one of the older children. She had two sons by the time her father died. Her husband was apparently John Miller. Their two sons were Cornelius (born 1754) and 'John (born 1756). Both sons served in the Revolutionary War. Cornelius was a Lieutenant and John was a Captain. [They] both served under Lt. Col. Henry Enoch, their uncle, the in Washington County, Pennsylvania Militia.

In Lord Fairfax grants, John Miller was recorded as holding 45 acres of Lot #46 and 78 acres of Lot #55. This was part of William Ross' original location. [father or son?]
