Rites Wednesday for John S. Olson, 88, at Lanesboro Lanesboro, Minn. — (Special) — Funeral serlvces for John S. Olson, 88, wiJl be held at 1 p. m. Wednesday at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wangen, here and at 2 p. m. at Highland _T-iUtheran church, the Rev. Phillip Hiller officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery. Six sons will be pallbearers. Mr. Olson died Sunday at the Lanesboro hospital after an illness of three months. He was born March 23, 1856, in Norway, coming to the United States at the age of 20. He had lived near here ever since. Mrs. Olsoa died September 26, 1920. Survivors are nine children, Ole, William, Oscar, Alfred and Mrs. Wangen, Lanesboro; Julius, Austin; Louis and Selmer, Highland, and Mrs. Edward Wangen, _Amherst; a brother, Martin, and a sister, Mrs. Otto Holt, both of Minneapolis; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
