John PARKER was born c1762 (age 25 in 1787)

On 14/1/1784 at Old Bailey London, John was convicted of assault and highway robbery and was sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Alexander"

John left the colony on "Admiral Barrington" in January 1792

The "Admiral Barrington" was forced ashore at "Malouine Islands" / "Malwan Island" (by gale force winds) where all on board except the master, chief mate and surgeon were murdered by natives.

Admiral Barrington left Port Jackson on 6 January 1792, to whale off the coast of Australia.
From New South Wales she sailed to Batavia. She left Batavia and reached the coast of India near Bombay. However, a gale of wind forced her on shore on one of the "Malouine Islands" (sic). There the natives on the island murdered her crew, except for the master, chief mate, and surgeon, who swam to the safety of a British East India Company country ship that was anchored near the island.
