Biography

John was born in about 1816 in Lower Canada also known as New France until 1757 or Quebec, Canada, today. He was the son of Luke Perkins and Alma Spencer. John emmigrated withhis family to Michigan in 1834. He was a Farmer.
John married Marie Howard on June 11, 1848 in Lapeer, Michigan. Mariewas born on August 16, 1830 in Upper Canada. She was the daughter ofJames and Sarah Howard.
Marie died on July 29, 1853 in Dryden, Lapeer, MIchigan. John Perkinsdied on December 29, 1906 at Ola, Gem County, Idaho, United States.

Children of John Perkins and Marie Howard are:
1. Maranda Perkins was born in September of 1849 in Dryden, Lapeer, Michigan. She marries to George Peron on December 25, 1869 in Coon Creek, Kansas. He was born on September 10, 1844 in New York the son of Dearich and Regina Peron. George dies on April 11, 1922 in Ola, Gem, Idaho. Maranda dies on February 28, 1927 in Ola, Gem, Idaho.
2. Carmilita Perkins was born on June 28,1851 in Dryden, Lapeer, Michigan. She marries to George Gilbert.
3. Benjamin Perkins was born on July 16, 1853 in Dryden, Lapeer, Michigan. Benjamin marries to Elizabeth Anora Rider on May 25, 1873 at Washington, Kansas. She was born in about 1857 in Illinois, the daughter of Benjamin F. Rider and Elizabeth Chase. Elizabeth dies on december 27, 1910 at Indian Valley, Adams, Idaho. Benjamin Perkins moved to Tacoma, Washington, where he dies on November 18, 1928.
