Note that Sarah Apple lived with Eliza Krickbaum and her family in 1850.

If all these refer to our John, he was 26-45 in 1800, 45+ in 1810 and 1820, and 50-60 in 1830. These can't all be right; since his daughter's birthdate on her gravestone is 1788, I'm guessing the 1830 census is wrong and he was born in the 1760s.
