About John Leonard Sandt

John owned the Washington Hotel in Stroudsburg, Pa. Later he moved to Bethlehem, Pa. In 1865, he entered into a partnership with Samuel Riegel as proprietors of the Sunn Inn, which was first commissioned by the King of England.
Note: Betsyann Sandt participated in the making of an educational video about the history of the Sun Inn. This video was made circa 1984, and she was chosen to participate in this project by her fourth grade teacher at Calypso Elementary School, Mrs. Ann Howlett.
