The Zanesville (OH) signal newspaper on September 3, 1942. JOHN SCHOTT DIES: John Schott, 89, well known retired farmer and stock dealer, died suddenly shortly before noon Wednesday at his home 10 miles east of here following a heart attack. He was the second of four brothers to die with 10 days. A brother, Jacob Schott, of near Fulda died 10 days ago. Mr. Schott was a lifelong resident of Noble county. Surviving are two brothers, Casper and N. F. Schott, both of Caldwell; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Noll, of Braddock, Pa. and Mrs. Nora Miller, of the home, and three sons, Michael, of near Fulda; Alex of Athens, Utah, and W. B. Schott, of the home. The body was removed to the Brubach funeral home at Summerfield.
