Biography
John Simmons was born 07 May 1714 in Plympton, Massachusetts to parents Job Simmons Sr. and Hannah Bishop.[1] [2]Hannah's birth name comes from Job's marriage record.[3]
He married first Hopestill Stetson on 21 Oct 1736 in Kingston, Massachusetts. Children: Faith, Noah, Eunice, John Peter. After Hopestill died in 1752 he married second Mary Delano (Widow Hanks) on 27 Dec 1752 in Kingston, Massachusetts.[4]
John died on 10 Dec 1770 in Duxbury, Massachusetts.[5]

Not to be confused with John Simmons (Simmons-7857) born 22 Aug 1716 to John Simmons and Susanna Tracy, married Joanna Doten, died 10 Dec 1770 Duxbury, Massachusetts, going back to Mayflower Aldens.
