John Steward, Jr. was born about 1658. He married to Michell Ballow, a daughter of William and Dorothy Ballow.
Administration of the estate of Dorothy Ballew, dec'd was granted to John Steward and Leonard Ballew on 1st December 1701 with Capt. Wm Farrer and Capt. Giles Webb as sureties.[1] An inventory and appraisement of her estate, dated December 9th 1701 in Henrico County, was submitted to the Court by Leonard Ballowe and John Steward, Jr. and recorded 2 February 1701/2.[2]
At an Orphan's Court held for Henrico County 20 August 1707, John Steward was ordered to give bond with surety for what estate he held in his custody belonging to the orphans of William Ballowe, deceased. [3]
