Present: John Martin, Thos. Catlett, John Taliaferro, John Catlet and William Taliaferro. Daniel Terry acknowledged his deed of land and bond indented to OWIN SULLIVENT. Christian wife of Daniel relinquished her right of dower. Daniel Terry acknowledged his deed of land and bond indented to JOHN SULLIVENT. Christian wife of Daniel relinquished her right of dower. Daniel Terry acknowledged his deed of land and bond indented to CHARLES SULLIVENT. Christian wife of Daniel relinquished her right of dower.

Caroline County, VA, Order Book 1731-1746 (Dorman) page 394, Jan. 15, 1736/7 Action of debt for 1666 pounds of tobacco. William Evins agt. JNO. SWILLIVENT, CHARLES SWILLIVENT and OWEN SWILLIVENT. Jury to enquire of damages find for the plaintiff 662 pounds of tobacco. John Ellis, foreman. the plaintiff released all the damage found by the jury except 200 pounds of tobacco. It's considered by the Court the plaintiff recover 1666 pounds of tobacco and 200 pounds of tobacco.

Caroline County, VA Order Books (Dorman's Abstracts) At a Court held 13 July 1744. JOHN SYLIVANT acknowledged his deed of land indented to John Lipscomb.

Patent Book 24, p. 399, at the VA State Library, Richmond, records that John Sullivant received a land grant for 400 acres on the south side of Twitty's Creek in Brunswick County being formerly granted unto Davey Stith...bearing date 30 July 1742 and since become vested in the said John Sullivant... rent fee of one shilling yearly to be paid upon the Feast of Saint Michae, the Arch Angel.. Wit: William Gooch, esq, Lt. Gov. and Commander in Chief of our said Colony at Williamsburgh...28 Aug. 1746.

The names of John, Charles and Owen Sullivan (var. sp.) appear on Lunenburg County tax lists in 1748 and 1749. James Sullivan was listed along with his father John Sullivan in 1748 and 1749. Will. Aug 3, 1750. I, John Suilliven of Lunenburg and Parish of Cumberland, being very sick and weak -To my daughters, Sarah Melone, Elizabeth Suillivent, Hanah Suillivent, and Mary Suillivent - 800 acres of land lying on the north side of Twitty's Creek, beginning at the mouth of the Haystack Branch on Bedford's line, thence along his line to my own corner, thence joining to David Gwin, Charles Suilivent, and Thomas Bouldin, being the land between Twitty Creek and Randolphs Road, to be equally divided among the 4 daughters.To my brother Charles Suillivent - 204 acres of land on the other side Randolphs Road, joining the said 800 acres near as the road goes and back to Clement Read's and Thomas Bouldin's lines, bounded by new lines that I have already made.To my 3 sons, James Suillevent, Manoah Suillivent, and John Suillivant - the rest of my land, being about 2400 acres, to be equally divided among them, my youngest son John to have the plantation where I now Signed - John Suillivant (X his mark). Witnesses - Thomas Bouldin, John Gwin.

The within will of the deceased was exhibited at Oct 2, 1750 Court by Charles Suillivent and Owen Suillivent, the executors, and the same was proved by the oaths of both witnesses, and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of the executors, who entered into bond with Thomas Bouldin, their security, certificate was granted them for obtaining a probate of the said will.
