About John Taylor
I died without a will while my children were young and my wife was also ill at the same time. I asked my manservant to look after my children should something happen to my wife, their mother. My land was between the Rappahannock River and the Potomac River, up to the Chesapeake Bay and to Maryland and the land was flat, easty to till, and there was plenty of seafood. As per English law, our oldest son inheireted. I was the judge advocate of all the Armies of Virginia and also a Burgess, Charles City, Virginia.
