Inquisitions Post Mortem for John Tiptoft, knight, Lord Tiptoft and Powis, Writs 1 Feb. and 6 Feb. 1443. His IPMs give four different death dates: 30 Jan., 31 Jan., 1 Feb. and 20 Feb. 1443. The last date is incorrect as it is after both dates of writ. John Tiptoft was his son and next heir, aged 16. Mentions Joyce his wife, who was still living.
