John Wyeth was born 15 July 1655 at Cambridge, Middlesex Co.,, Massachusetts, son of Nicholas Wyeth (1601-1680) and Rebecca (Moore) Wyeth (abt. 1620-1688); [1] married 2 Feb 1682 at Cambridge, Mass. Deborah Ward, born 19 July 1662 at Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, died there 1 Jul 1708, daughter of John Ward (abt 1626-1708) and Hannah (Jackson) Ward (bef 1634-abt 1704).

John and Deborah (Ward) Wyeth and their family lived on Garden Street in Cambridge, on an estate purchased by John adjacent to the west side of his father Nicholas' homestead. He was a mason and constable of Cambridge in 1677/78. A Freeman of Cambridge 1690.[3]
