Biography

Jonathan was born Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, 3 November 1661, the son of William Dawes and his wife, Susanna Mills.[1] He was baptized there, 10 November 1661.[2][3][4]

Jonathan married, perhaps Boston, by 1687 (birth of child that year), Hannah Morse,[5] daughter of John Morse,[6]

Jonathan died after 1692.[citation needed]

Research Notes

His death death is uncertain, because Mary Dawes born in 1692.
Jonathan was mentioned on a memorial in Kings Chapel Burying Ground, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States with a death date of 5 October 1690.[7]

There are two different dates for son Jonathan. Maybe the first Jonathan died. (Note, Only one shown in Robert Charles Anderson, George F. Sanborn, Jr., and Melinde Lutz Sanborn, The Great Migration, Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, Volume II, C-F (2001).
