NASON, Jonathan, Hampton, m. 17 Oct. 1705 Huldah Sanborn who was bp. and adm. to full com. (Hamp. Falls) in 1727 and d. 7 Oct. 1758. His will, 1741 - 1750 directs that his mo. be maintained out of his est. and names his w. and ch: Shuah, Huldah, Richard, Ann, Phebe, Mary.

6 NASON, RICHARD (5), m. Shuah Colcord (1) who m. 2d 16 Sept. 1687 John Douglas (2). Trad. states that he was shot by Ind. in the entry of his ho. in 1675, but his fa. was called ‘Sr.’ in 1676 and the yr. of his w.’s birth (1662) necessitates advancing the date of his death some yrs. Conclusively R. N. ‘Jr.’ was absent from meet, in 1685. Stackpole must have guessed, and badly, at the birth yrs. of his ch: Sarah, m. Nathaniel Sanborn bef. 1709 and had a ch. as late as 1719. Jonathan, Hampton, m. 17 Oct. 1705 Huldah Sanborn who was bp. and adm. to full com. (Hamp. Falls) in 1727 and d. 7 Oct. 1758. His will, 1741-1750, directs that his mo. be maintained out of his est. and names his w. and ch: Shuah, b. 21 Nov. 1707 (m. 22 Feb. 1728 James Perkins); Huldah, b. 13 July 1709 (m. 13 Jan. 1731 Ebenezer Dearborn); Richard, b. 13 Nov. 1710 (m. 10 Feb. 1732 Elizabeth Tilton; 9 ch.); Mary. Two not in will, Phebe and Ann, bp. 28 Sept. 1727. If Phebe m. Joseph Cass in 1720 (see Cass 4 jr.), she must have been the eldest ch. and bp. by her maiden name. See Phebe (2). One Mary m. Elihu Shaw 28 Nov. 1739-40, and ano. m. Jonathan Moulton 14 Nov. 1744.
