About José Sayo

José Sayo was the third of eight children of Juan Sayo Hernández and Agustina Margarita de Jesús. He was baptized by Antonio de Ron, and his godfather at the time of his baptism was Juan de la Cruz. He was one of the deputies of confraternity in Quingua (present-day Plaridel), Bulacan from 1776 to 1793 and from 1799 to 1802. and was an eldest brother of confraternity from 1794 to 1798.
