G11.5 Miriam, wife of R. Joseph Solomon Pressburg, born in Pressburg in 1727, son of R. Meir Pressburg of Vienna, married at age nineteen and led a thirteen-year, unhappy marriage. He refers to his wife as "more bitter than death" in his Mincha Ani, published in 1780 in Prague, with enemies who "deprive me of property and of lives," and lost three children. He lived in Prague, Frankfurt-on-Main and Furth.
