Joseph Boyce, born about 1672; died in 1723. He was the eldest son and second child of Joseph (2) and Sarah (Meacham) Boyce of Salem. A tanner and miller, Joseph lived on his grandfather’s homestead in Salem.

He married Rebecca Trask, daughter of John Trask, about 1695. She was Samuel Potter’s widow and married 3rd to Benjamin Very of Salem.
