Joseph Chandler, son of Deacon John & Elizabeth (Dougles) Chandler, was born in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts 3 April, 1667; died in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts 29 September 1668 aged 18 months. He was buried in the Eliot Yard on Eustis Street, Roxbury, Mass., and the slate-stone monument, about seven inches wide by twelve high, standing (1872) by that of his brother John and sister Hannah.
