: He joined the church at Farmington on 9 June 1689. He was one of thefirst settlers of Waterbury, probably in the spring of 1678, and was collector of minister's rates in 1698, 1699, and 1700. He removed in 1706 to Durham, where he was the first selectman. : 1663, August 24: He was received £8-00-00 in the will of his grandfather, Edward Stebbing proved at Hartford, Connecticut.
